How to use PowerPoint slides in MDID2
From Mdidwiki
PowerPoint allows you to export individual slides as images, which in turn can be imported into your personal collection in MDID2 for use with your slideshows. Since MDID only handles images, any animations, sound effects etc. you may have in your PowerPoint slideshow will be lost.
First, you will have to configure the size of the generated images in PowerPoint. You will achive the best effects if you set the image size to the screen resolution of the screen or projector you will run your MDID slideshow presentation on. If in doubt, use standard settings like 800x600 or 1024x768.
Open PowerPoint and select Tools>Options... from the menu. On the General tab, click the Web Options... button.
Select the Pictures tab and select the appropriate screen size:
Now, open or create the PowerPoint slides you want to use in MDID and select File>Save As... from the menu. In the Save as type: box, select Device Independent Bitmap.
Save the images to your hard drive.
You can now add these images to your personal collection and use them in slideshows like you would any other personal image.
